Your Y.A. room is great! Would it be alright if I wanted to bring my checkerboard over sometime?

Sure, you can bring games if you’d like. We have a table for four and smaller coffee tables you can feel free to use. Glad you like it!

I love seeing new ideas put into play at the library! The YA section is an inviting place for teens to gather, look at a magazine or just hang out. Nice job.

I think some sort of anime drawing class would be nice for teens.

    Hi KC and KT,
I’m planning fall programs now and I’ll try and fit in a least one craft program. I also have a writers workshop for grades 6-8 coming up if you’d be interested in that. All the fall programs will be decided by the last week of August so I’ll post them on the blog.
    Thanks,
    Katie

      Hi,
Just go to Clustr Maps at http://www.clustrmaps.com/ and you can set up a free account. I have the free version, but they also have a version you can pay for with more features.

It IS pretty cool to see that someone in Myanmar, Ghana, Honduras or wherever has read the blog.

      Enjoy!

    Hi Steven,
Yes you can use the online catalog to put a book on hold. Just find what you’re looking to request in the catalog and click the “Email Request” button on the top right. That will take you to a short form to fill out with your name and library card number. Requests get sent to the library’s main email and we’ll either email or call you when your book is ready to be picked up.

I was just wondering if you found a blue botton unifrom tshirt. I lost it a few weeks ago and I seemed to misplace it. I don’t know if I left it at the library by mistake since I go there after school. Please write back if you know where it is. Thanks

      Hi Deanna,
I checked the lost and found, but I didn’t see a button. Sorry! If it turns up, I’ll let you know.

Hey I was wondering if you could order some books by Tucker Max to the library. They would be a good addition to the YA section.

    Thanks

      Hi LB,
Tucker Max’s books would actually go in the adult section, but I’ll pass your request along to our adult librarian!
      Thanks,
      Katie

I’ve got Hot Mess on order and I’ll put you on hold for it. We’ve got My World 2.0 and Never Say Never the Remixes by Justin Bieber. I’ll be on the lookout for easy cookbooks.

      Hi Molly,
I’ll look for the soundtrack, but for now, we do have Ke$ha’s two CDs: Animal and Cannibal.

Can I suggest that you get NOW that’s what I call Club Hits and NOW that’s what I call Club Hits 2? I think that people (especially teens) would enjoy the adrenaline pumping music and would encourage faster paced workouts for the new years resolutions people have made.
