Have Book Will Travel

Girouard EiffelTower antique colorBelieve it or not, I’m already planning this year’s summer reading stuff, so I thought I’d give you just a taste of what’s in the works.

As you can probably tell from that sweet Eiffel Tower picture there, we’ve got a travel-themed program this year: “Have Book, Will Travel!”

The library will be undergoing renovations this summer so we can’t do quite as many programs as usual, but I’m planning some great stuff, including henna tattoos, zentangle mandalas, a bike maintenance workshop, a 3D printing workshop and tons more!

What else? Well….I guess you probably want to know about prizes, too. You guys know I”m a gift card prize lover, so we’ve got the usual suspects plus a few passes to Vertical Endeavors to give away. And our bonus grand prize is a Kindle Fire! Remember, you’ve got to read 25 hours to be entered into that bonus drawing.

I’m looking forward to this summer and hope you are too. Got any suggestions for gift card prizes? Comment me!

Hey this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually
code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
