You can now register for the library’s fall events for teens!  Just go to our online calendar, find the events for teens (listed in green) and sign up online.  Here’s what’s going on…

Magnet Madness
Tuesday, September 20, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Make your own magnetic picture frames, bottle cap magnets, and marble magnets to decorate and organize your locker. Registration required. Grades 7-12.

Teen Read Week – Picture It @ Your Library
October 16 – 22
Remember to read for the fun of it this month! Look for our Teen Read Week display in the library’s main display case throughout the month of October.

String Creatures
Friday, October 14, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
These funky creations are easy to make and one-of-a-kind. Use string and pipe cleaners to create your own creepy, cute creature. Registration required. Grades 7-12.

Graham Cracker Haunted Houses
Thursday, October 27, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Take a graham cracker ‘gingerbread’ house to a new level and make a haunting house using Halloween candy. Registration required. Grades 7-12.

Custom Cards
Monday, November 7, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Need to give a card for a birthday, Christmas, or to say thanks? We’ll provide all the supplies you need to create your own set of greeting cards. Registration required. Grades 7-12.

ACT 10 Question Challenge
Wednesday, November 16, 6:30 – 7:45 p.m.
Think you’re ready for the ACT? Take the 10 question
challenge and be sure! In just one hour you will sample 10 test-like ACT questions, learn 10 score-raising strategies and find out how to be really ready for the ACT. Presented by Kaplan Test Prep. Registration required. Grades 9-12.
