The Chicago Swordplay Guild

June 22, 2011 at 9:00 am Leave a comment

Check out the Chicago Swordplay Guild tonorrow, Thursday, June 23 at 6:30 p.m. Find out the history of sword fighting and the knightly traditions surrounding it. See live weapons demonstrations including the medieval longsword, Renaissance rapier, and more!  Adults and teens going into grade 7 or above are welcome to attend this event.

We plan to meet outside at the southwest corner of the library grounds, right at Sunnyside and Winfield. But, depending on how much rain we get, it may be in the parking lot or in the library somewhere, so just ask at the front desk and we’ll let you know where to go.  See you Thursday!
