Wish You Were Dead

Imagine your own personal hate list.  You know, people who you wouldn’t really mind if they disappeared forever.  People you WISH would disappear forever.  Now start a blog and tell everyone you know about who you hate.  That’s exactly what anonymous blogger Str-S-d does in Todd Strasser’s “Wish You Were Dead.”

The only problem is, once Str-S-d wishes Lucy were dead, Lucy actually vanishes.  The last person to see Lucy is her friend Madison, who starts receiving anonymous notes saying she could be next.  Frightened about Lucy’s disappearance, Madison does everything she can to uncover the truth before her name appears on the blog.

Told partially through the blog, partially from Madison’s point of view, this one is a quick read that will pull you in with plenty of mystery to untangle.  Who is Str-S-D?  Did they really have something to do with Lucy’s disappearance? Will Madison find out what happened before she’s next?  Find out!  “Wish You Were Dead” is available now at the library.
