After forty years coaching girls, I had my first YA sports novel out last fall. It is called Freshman Season: How I Dodged and Tackled High School. It is about a fourteen year old field hockey player. Its follow-up story, First Year Varsity: Time spent in the Lost and Found is due out this fall. The first book can be checked out on Also Keri Milkulski has put out a good story out about a softball player – Screwball.
