Join Summer Reading and get free stuff

Ah, the lure of free stuff…works every time.  Summer Reading sign-up starts Monday June 4 and the part where you actually have to read is from June 11 to July 21.

Here’s Summer Reading in three easy steps:

Step 1: Read.  Just read whatever you want, we’re not the book police and we won’t tell you what you can or can’t read for our program.

Step 2: Come to the library once a week and tell us how many hours you read that week.  You tell us, we’ll give you free stuff, as promised.

Step 3:  For every hour you’ve read, fill out a prize slip to be entered to win a grand prize.  This year, you can win gift certificates to Borders, Target, or other places (ask me next week about the third choice…I can’t remember!)

    Hi everyone,
Guess what? Your third choice is a Charlestowne movie theatre pass. They were a hit with Winfield Library’s Teen Team last summer. So get ready to read the books you didn’t have time for during the school year and keep track of your hours.
