It’s Harry Potter Day!
So, did you go to the midnight show of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (aka the LAST HP MOVIE EVAH!)? Are you going this weekend? It seemed like everyone I saw at yesterday’s program is going this weekend, but sadly, not me since I’m under the weather and really don’t want to be the jerk who goes to the movie and coughs the whole time (you’re welcome, fellow moviegoers!). So, give me the scoop since I’m out of luck this weekend…..
Have another answer? Comment me!

Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss?!
It’s official: the role of Katniss in The Hunger Games movie trilogy will be played by Jennifer Lawrence, the actress who was nominated for an Oscar for this year’s Winter’s Bone. Of course, fans of the series are lighting up the web with complaints and/or praise for the casting directors. What do you think?
I am Number Four: Book vs. Movie
It seems like every other teen book is being made into a movie, and the latest is “I am Number Four,” an action-packed scifi story about a seemingly normal teen whose secret identity is hidden until he finds out assassins from another world are after him.
Have you read the book? Did you check out the movie this weekend? Book vs. movie, what did you think?

Resolved
Once again, my resolution this year will be to read more young adult books, so I can review them for you people! Wish me luck, I’m sure I’ll need it. Here’s your chance to tell me what you want reviewed for this blog…
How Do You Listen?
I’ve blogged about Playaways before – they’re the small, portable way to listen to an entire audiobook preloaded on a device about the size of an MP3 player. Now that I’ve gotten a few more, including “Shiver” by Maggie Stiefvater, and “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton, I want to know…
Thanks for your input! Comment me if you have an idea for an audio book we should buy.

Disney to buy out Marvel?!
According to news this morning, Disney is set to buy out Marvel for $4 billion, including complete control of Marvel’s over 5000 characters. I can’t help thinking this is a travesty! But what do you think?
Summer’s Blockbuster Books
Is the one you’re most looking forward to not listed? Comment me and I’ll let you know if the library has ordered it yet.
