Get your Twilight fix…

March 24, 2009

twilightdvdRelive your favorite moments in Twilight!  The library has the special edition DVD, so watch the movie, listen to Kristin, Robert, and Catherine Hardwicke do the commentary, and see all the behind the scenes action.

Watch for things you may have missed the first time around, like Stephenie Meyer’s cameo, James and Victoria wearing Waylon’s clothes after they kill him, or the songs sung by Robert Pattinson during the scene in the restaurant in Port Angeles and the scene where Edward sucks James’ venom out of Bella’s arm.   twilightdirectorsnotebook

If you want more insider info, we’ve also got the Twilight Director’s Notebook by Catherine Hardwicke.  It’s got everything you could want, from location scouting to wardrobe drawings to music choices to how they pulled off the vampire baseball game and Alice’s grisly beheading of James.

Check them out now at the library!

    -.-

I demand your library get up and move to WA. Neither of the libraries within driving distance of my house do events, talk about books, or even have a YA section bigger than one shelf. I went there to ask if an event could be done for my noveling blog (it’s a small library, you’d think they’d support local authors.) but no…they won’t even recommend your book unless it has won two or three very specific awards.

Ok. I’m done ranting. I’ll watch Twilight on my own and tell you guys what I think here. ^^

Hey our library asked me to plan a New Moon party for the upcoming release of the New Moon movie in November. I posted my party planner on my blog, and I’m willing to share it with librarians all over the place. Spread the word, okay?

Here’s the link to my party planner for New Moon: http://passinglovenotes.wordpress.com/2009/10/16/were-having-a-new-moon-party-how-should-we-celebrate-new-moons-arrival-in-theaters/
